the Hypatec pistons have arrived. it took 5 days to travel the first odd 19.800km then it took customs 3 weeks to charge me VAT.
they look the part : not oil drain slots and especialy the full skirt 998 pistons seems very sturdy and by estimation have crowns 10mm isch thick.
contemplating asking a radiologist friend to CT scan both a 1275 and 998 piston
