13.2 kin ell, really puts things in perspective when other 'fast' minis are only pulling 15's.

I think steve mentioned nic got a 13.6 early on in the day aswell???

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

Indeed well done to Turbo Tim, to quote the man himself shortly before the winning run, "More boost needed!", obviously did the trick!

Also well done to Nic in 2nd place and Matt in 3rd!

yes well done to tim nic and mat.

tims time was supurb nics car just amaze me for the boost he is running.

well my day was crap with a series of shit starts and got it together on the last run with a 15.3 and a 92 mph.

nice to see some faces in ian, wolfie,t dave jimster and vergard plus nic (thanks for the water spray worked a treat.

my main prob was keeping inlet charge temp down to below 50 deg at the start but plewnty of water spray on the turbo and pipwork shot it down to 37 deg which made a lot of difference.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

I was on the grandstand when Tim did that 13.2.

He got a perfect launch off the line which seemed all too difficult for most of the minis. A lot got bogged down with the huge amounts of grip.

Did you see that guy spraying the startline with glue for the Wild Bunch cars!!!!!!

Well done to all the TM guys, we saw the 13.2 run, just smooth as....sorry very little video this year as camera is on the blink.
My awards.
Best turnout, goes to class D, followed closely by I, some very close racing in both classes.
Best turbo burnout, TurboDave
Worst :( run. TurboDave, (sounded very sick)
Best pitcrew, Jimster, don't know what the craic was but a very nice job done on that engine :) even flew his mechanic in from the states *tongue* !
Best gay penguin run down the pitlane - turbophil.
Just gutted the video camera wasn't working!!

Rich.

my best time was 14.58 (im sure it was that ill dig the slip out) im happy with that. i might save up for a new head and turbo me thinks. made a note to ones self to bring spare spark plugs next time. had one knacker up on sat and only had an old set of a lower heat range ones so i wacked um in and on my last run 2 of them melted, but appart from that car seemed to run fine*smiley*

edit- oh yeah well done to nic tim and mat, top cars well done.

Some questions though?
What happened to Carl Austin, why just the one engine?
What happened to the TT2?, saw it in the campsite and passed it going back up the m6.
Where was nathan Dobson and the V8?
What was wrong with Jon's car?
What was the story with jimster? did it run at all this w/e?

Here for the craic..
