ok i was driving along the road today, i had picked up my friend who has just got back from tour overseas (PARA) i had the new addition with me. i was driving down the road nice and easy nothing out of the ordinary. i then went onto a road (beach road for the folk that know it) and i noticed a blue people carrier right behind me, he was about to enter a solid cross hatching, i looked ahead and noticed there was a motorbike oncoming (also in the hatching) so i pulled out to block the people carrier making the overrtake... i thought that once he had seen that he would have killed the biker he would be cool and forget it.........not the case, he then tailgated me for 1/2 a mile so i pulled into the estate foolishly thinking a lone bloke would not get in a confrontation with two blokes alone........nope he continued to follow, so i pulled over and got out of the car, along with me mate. he then did a 3 pointer over the pavement drove at me, then did another 3 pointer and stopped shouting and swearing at me. i told my friend to stay with the car and my son (he wanted to smack the bloke and i didnt want situation to escalate) the bloke then went on saying i had tried to kill him and run him off the road, despite me explaining why i had blocked his overtake...also pointing out it was an offence to enter the hatchings deliniered by solid white lines......his reply was "ME AND YOU BACK LANE RIGHT NOW!"
WTF is wrong with people !!!!!! i also got the "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM" shpeel iam so frustrated about this got his reg but cannot be arsed with the extra hassle talk about failling the driver attitude test...........i made some enquiries, turned out he is a taxi driver !!!! think i may be speaking with the firm when i get back......sorry to winge just had to vent it quietly whilst i typed.

Well my mate beeped at someone after they cut him up on a roundabout, they followed him to work then when he got out ripped his eyebrow ring up and beat him up then left, all because he beeped his horn at them for cutting him up.

Ive been followed home once after i didnt let a guy overtake me on a blind bend, i just turned into a estate which i knew near my home and lost him.. some people just need to chill.

my frst turbo! i thank you for what you did as i'm a biker & mini nut! even though you done what you did (the right thing in my book) he probobly did'nt even notice the biker either way!!! i'm only a pint sized lad 5ft2" so try to avoid any situations, i've had many a person come to my window to give abuse or want to cave my face in when a situ is'nt actually caused by me,

BUT! just the fact of 1.2ft metal tubing with a jaguar xj40 ball joint welded on the end, sitting on my passenger seat, with my hand on it usually puts them off!

Clubmanflip, be careful with your 'turn to shit' stick. I've heard some nasty stories of the stick being taken off the owner and then used to batter them with it. Not good.

I guess the moral is, some people are just fucking nutters, keep out their way.

i think you did the right thing mate, i always make extra time for bikers (if their coming up behind me ill pull over to make room for them etc etc etc) end of the day they've got a lot more balls than me and i respect that.
as for that taxi driver, their all like it....well.....70% of them (in swansea) i saw 4 car accidents reported in the paper over the course of a week, each one involved a taxi, co-inky-dinkt....

lets just hope the next person he tries overtaking doesnt block him and that a tractors coming the other way. you totally did the right thing, well done.

im suprised he never told you he has the meter running and asked you to pay the fayre aswell. But everyone is rite, most road traffic incidents (RTI formally known as RTA'S) are caused by taxi drivers. Being both a biker and an ambulance driver i thank you rich for what you done, but please people be careful there are alot of people who dont have anything to live for and will do anything!

iam more up for getting decomisioned tanks and slowly cruising the streets.... you wouldnt hear even if some dude did have a problem with you...just a slight dip in the revs as you cruise over their car :)

I was on the wrong end of someones attitude last night.

Just coming up to my house (I live on the A18 - busy road) a 40 ft lorry in front pulls up partly blocking my drive. I say quite politely (I am a fairly chilled person) you are blocking my drive, and he say's "what do you expect me to do about it? It's not like you've got a sign on the front of your car" and walks off. Couldn't park on the road as I would be too close to a corner. I managed to get into my drive by driving 40 feet along the pavement. Wrong I know, but not much I could do really.

What a BAC.

I am suprised that an artic driver would do that as they are professional drivers and are expected in the eyes of the police etc to act as such.

Speaking of road rage etc, what happens in this vid is absolutely hillarious! Not that I engourage taking things into your own hands at all but you gotta laugh how this turns out. Still, its scary how theres people out there going cruising looking for fights. More scary that theres people with guns and baseball bats in their cars.
