175/50/13 maily because I have had trouble finding good tyres and wheels with the correct offset in 12". Don't like 10" wheels mainly because of the problems with putting decent brakes behind them (pref' no servo).

12" 145/70 tire with cheapo tyres because that what was on my mini when i brought it, but still enough to beat most cars round corners, am ugrading to 13x7 with avons finest soon as the budget or christmas bonus allows

175/50/13 just because its cheaper for good brakes. Plus looks i suppose, although if i could afford the brakes for 10's i would definately go back to them.

First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

10" 165

just because i like 10"s and 165s for the look, and extra width, hence grip

12" 165/60 on all three minis because I can fit them on the Rover minilights that came with the cars.

Going for 10" 165/70 on my car next year because I like the retro look.

10" 165 for me too, just like the look more and it handles a lot nicer than any of the 12's or 13's i've had.

yes did you mean the "10" 165/70 tire" not 60?

It's what i run as it's cheap to replace the rubber.

12" by 6" wide revolutions and 165/60 tyres , because its an easy fit with the 8.4 discs i like a narrower sidewall than the 10's have for more direct steering ,and dont like the look of 13's .
it seems to handle very well .but has been cambered and tracked and ride hieght set etc ,oh and adjusted to be square around all four wheels .

195/45/13 cause they have more give in teh sidewall than 175/50's stretched onto 7" rims and therefore seem to tramline less. also wider footprint gives me more grip. also they look cool cause there so wide :)

175/50/13's, because of the wheels I wanted to go with the look of the rest of the car.

I used to run 165/60x13" Goodyear Eagle NCT2's on mine

Think that was the profile...Excellent tyres, and a damn sight cheaper than the 175/50's

having fitted some A008's again after using the 165's. TBH the car handled far far better with the 165/60's than it did with the 175/50's

V interesting!!!

Heard sorts of claims over the years, none of which has stood up to examination.

Glad to meet people who admit the look is an important factor rather than make rash claims.

Interesting what people say about the alternative sizes on 13"s, only ever tried 175/50/13 .... might have to look at the alternatives!
