Hi Guys, as you know I have my engine for sale on Ebay, but for some reason today when I logged on, the item had ended early and was listed 8 times with a different by now price, so I've had to relist it again.

Does this mean somebody has logged on as me and messed with my account?

Has anyone had a problem like this before?

I would say Tim it is highly likely someone has got into your ebay account somehow.

If I were you I would change all the passwords you use for ebay and paypal and other websites and then try again.

make sure you change you email address password, and check the settings as they might be bouncing your incoming mails to a different email address.. so that anyone who is unfortunate enough to buy the fake items pays via means that he/she can get hold of.

this happened to me, scumbags.

i keep getting messages sent to my yahoo account from supposingly ebay members saying random things like "you need to pay for this" or "youve not replied to my messages" on random items that ive not even searched for let alone bought. when you click on the item number it asks you to log in. if you do they have youre details. if you have a email in youre yahoo account etc but its not in youre "my ebay" then be very wary and report it to ebay spoof department then theyll tell you if it real. they look identical to ebay sent mail too.

i think the dogey emails just say "member@ebay" or something like that rather than the ebay user name.

have you had any similar emails by any chance?:(

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

That sucks Tim.

Like suggested - change YOUR EBAY, PayPal passwords and Email passwords - especially if they're the same / similar.

My ebay, paypal passwords are absolutely completely random words with two random rumbers at the end.

Oh - and report it to ebay so they can keep an eye on your account activity.

I wonder what it can be?

I've not seen you post or have any input on any of the 16v threads, but you can put a head off a BMW motorbike on an A-Series block - the bores are pretty close and everything.

You can get a conversion kit from these guys....
