Sounds very nice...tis a shame it seems funny hearing that noise coming from a metro!!!
Respect keeping the engine in a metro, I do feel bad for killing my red one.

It sounds great, it really makes me want to get back out in the garage and carry on with my Metro. I have been house bound and able to do bugger all apart from watch tv for the last two weeks. Since someone knocked me and a mate of our bikes, and smashed my shoulder up.

Is there any chance that you would be able to send me a few close up pictures of your engine bay. It might give me a few more ideas of how to get the intercooler and everything back in there.

Thanks, and well done for a top motor...
Luke

Heres an arty shot of engine...

Although it won't look like this in about 2 weeks time, as I have a front mount intercooler install on the way.

I'll be posting up an update when thats finished, with some revised rolling road figures. Should be done in 2 weeks time I think :)

All the best with your metro project, it'll be worth the effort mate *wink*

Thanks for the picture, it does look nice. I will be intereted to see how you get on with the front mounted intercooler. This is the way that i have gone. I have got a HUGH intercooler from a WRC car which i have managed to get fitted at the front. I have had to move the radiator back a few inches and fit a different fan. had to go the MegaJolt route to acheive this.

What size intercooler are you planning on fitting at the front. It will be interesting to see what performance increases that you see. Make sure you post the set-up when finished.

Thanks and good luck with it.

Luke

(Also is that an Owen Developments sticker in your window? If so what did they do for you? We use them for refurbing turbos from work... Might have to get in touch with them.)

They are not the best of photos but they show roughly where things are going to sit. When i am feeling better i will try and get some better ones. Don't know what it will work like, hopefully it should be ok.

I'm hoping to set a benchmark quarter mile time for metros with this car.

Would like to try and get into the 13's once I've got the power close to 200bhp.

I don't know of any proven times, would be good to know what I have to aim at though! Don't think theres many road legal turbo's running over 150bhp, so I might be in with a chance.
