Right, i have been reading bits and bobs and you know what they say alittle information in the wrong hands cost to much money and blows stuff up. so before i kill any one e.g my self. Can somone give me more info on the mega jolts stuff, I have just sold my luminition kit and its a tempting upgrade but seems alot more involved but could be worth while doing.
what bits are needed to do a full installed, and how tricky is the programing of the unit?

right i've done my reading and well i want one. Think i'll be ordering the pully from your mini-pulley.com site soon and sorting out the Megajolts from Alex. a friend of mine has offerd to build the unit and i will fit all the parts and wire the car. Just want to find out a few things about where to sorce the edis and crank sensor and coil pack from, Which ford? I can see trips to the scrap yard become more frequent. still need to find out if i should up Map or TPS

older fiestas have the edis 4 unit in them. Get down a scrappy and root around. The edis 4 is black and has a sticker on the back with edis 4 on it somewhere. Think it says motorcraft on the front. You must get the black one, not the red. You can get the coilpack and crank sensor from anything ford i think. If its turbo then map, NA use tps.

does that look like a good deal to people because i think i mite bid.
I see some people got there crank wheel bit of a serria. how do you get it to fix to the mini crank pully? and it must be abit tricky to get centered.

To be honest me and my friends source megajolt bits from scrapyards (if it fits in your pocket its free and all that) so not sure if thats a good deal or not. If theres no scrappys round you then it might be worth getting it off ebay but i never would, maybe cos im cheap
As for pulley's your best bets getting 1 off tom fenton (minipulleys) like you said and one of his brackets for the sensor cos it takes out quite a bit of the hassle from the equation.

Have a look in the injection management section or search for posts by Bill shurvington.

See what he has to say .... I must say that I agree ..... TPS for individual throttle bodies, silly cams and other un-helpful configurations and for the rest I'll take SD (MAP sensor ....)

I took all parts form a 96 Fiesta and got a pully and bracket from Tom.

Hey alex, i went to a scrappy 2day and got 3 edis 4 modules. I want one for my car but ill gladly send you one if you pay the postage. I have the edis 4 module and the plug (with a short length of loom as i cant fit much in my pocket ) including the plug for the coilpack but no coilpack as i didnt have the right socket and doubt it would have fitted in my pocket. (it was an unplanned trip). If not then you need to look for 1.1 injection fiestas i think. And the module is mounted on the bulkhead to the right of the airbox.

Right, Got my Edis and my coil pack... having trouble getting a crank sensor at the moment. Should be ordering my MJ kit next week. pully is comming off soon, maybe saturday. so its comming along.. kinda.

If i go to scrappy again ill find you a crank sensor, might not be for a while tho, are you desperate? Postage only came to a couple of quid for edis so i owe you about 2 or 3 quid.

That would be great. Not mega desperate but i will need one soonish. Got to get the pully done then build the kit up. I just don't get the time to go down to my local. Went in my lunch break from work today.
