Yep not bad resulta at all, easy race on Saturday, qualified in 2nd and finished second, just a run out realy. I tried hard to keep up with Luti in the N/A 1380 but to no avail(he is a race instructor at Croft!!), so I eased off and watched my mirrors to stay ahead of the rest of the field.

Sunday was a different enjoyable kettle of fish....

We did not do any qualifying, they just took our fastest lap from Saturday as our grid position....Then they reversed the grid so the pole sitters were at the back.

It was great fun getting through the traffic, by lap 3 ish of the 20 minute race I was out front, I stayed full on for a lap then eased off, maybe a little too much, I saw my main rival Paul Luti gaining on me so I stepped back up to full pace.

Soon he was on my tail, going into bends slightly off line to protect my position I made a slight mistake by stepping the back end a bit too far, this lost me momentum and Paul got along side.

The Jim Clark esses and Barcroft are full on flat out, no lifting, we went through those side by side and I promise you that is bloody scarey at 115mph, lucky I had the faster outside line and held my position into Sunny.

Paul got the better of me into the complex and then lead for the rest of the race very closey followed by myself.

The car never missed a beat except fouling a couple of plugs in the paddock but a noisey gearbox is an engine out job this week.

Martin and Mark, thanks for the supportl.

Oh and Richy....We're on!!!*smiley*

Maybe I should start driving like Bill Sollis, over defensive and sometimes dirty!!!
