Just got back from Avon.

Well me An T3tone just got back in, a trouble free journey home thankfully, just bloody long and tiring!

Looks like I might be the first to post.
As normal what a top (weekend), sat and sat night being the best, I left early today as weather was looking bad and still raining, no more track action I thought, I also have to get the MM photos sorted ASAP, so sorry if mist any of you and didn't say good bye.

Thanks for the people that came up and introduced them self's, I'm hopeless at doing that so it was good to meet a lot of new people on here.
Well done on you lot for your so, so fast times and speeds, I don't know what's got into people now as your all so dame fast .
Big well done to Tom Fenton and Carl Austin, in the new car, that really is some thing, and SOOOOO Much more to come.
Well done NIC also you were in my top list of runners, when I left I think you were second so good on you.
I'm very pleased as I got over the 110 barrier that I was going for,
And Well done as well Mr T3 tone aka Little Scrot, for bettering last years time and terminal speed.

well I could go on, but I better get on downloading.

I'm gutted I couldn't run my car, but at a wedding saterday, but I did make it with a running car this year. :(

Well, I went over to Avon today and although there was not any racing, it was good to meet you all.

Bloody expensive though, just for a chat, but better than most mini shows.

Best bit was passing Messrs Shelley and Woods on the A14 on the way home, but they were going at a legal pace! My lads thought it was very funny - my asmatic 1275 overtaking two of the top cars!

Saturday got me scratching my head alot, the times robert was getting with relatively low boost, nics terminal speeds, will and bens putting in silly times and terminals in a 998!!!!! Top work from carl austin and tom fenton, amazing piece of kit there and congrats on your class d victory and everyone else for putting in some great times.
Good to meet a load more people from this site, got some video footage that i will post up when i can but a tad tired after the journey home.

pleased i went !
met nice people and got 5 runs in on the sat ,car ran about as i hoped so that was good ,

tom zig zagging up the strip was definately a touch of the mad bluebottle in a jar ,nice driving to keep it off the barriers tom !
i was scared and i was just watching yet alone in it !

nic cracked 110 terminal which was about 3 miliseconds after matt did it for the first time for a 5 port i think ?
well done to both of you,very smooth deseaming , nic .

had a nice chat to axel and to john , really liked his lightweight gold mini held back by its steering prob bet you cant wait to get that sub sorted john !

nice chat also with matt and tony 103 term tony damn good .
bizarre mensa drinking game with matty and co on sat ev was surreal.

weather was a bit of a bummer on sunday ,but it was worth it overall .thanks to turbominis and alex for creating the site and momentum for this each year

yep, top weekend as usual. didnt get many runs in really about 4 or 5 on sat. i was glad me car got there and back ok only finished putting it together friday afternoon. nothing like a 300 mile round trip to test the car. lol

there were a few usual faces missing but mnaged to av a chat with a few people.

jim is the luckiest person of avon 07 me thinks.

only good thing to come out of the sunday rain was being able to line up all the turbominis for pics.

anyway roll on avon 08. class d will defo be in the 12 secs surely
