I apologise first, in case I'm speaking out of turn and totally wrong, but I get the impression Stuart and his pit crew are very standoffishand and give the impression of unaproachable ! Does anyone know him or his crew ?
Again I apologise if I offend anyone, as that isn't the intension, I'm just curious to know a bit more !

I'm not a fan of the car but I have to comend the effort involved to build a 10 sec mini.

yeah i do know him,his only like that cos he races in ultimate street car an tey try to keep details of there spec to a minimum for "top secret" reasons..lol catch him in a good mood and hes a nice guy,

I've only ever spoken with Stuart himself, never spoken with any of his crew.
Like anyone who has achieved something through development and hard work, they won't reveal lots of info to anyone who walks upto them and starts asking probing questions...

Just try and think how many folks start asking them questions - 90% of whom are probably retards and think all that is needed to run a sub 10 is a big turbo, loads of NOZ and a 'chip'.

I found first hand this weekend that for some reason people will walk over, look at the car and then expect you to tell you all about the spec of it.

The most common question I got was "what turbo is that" to which I replied "garrett".

er dave you are wrong youl need more a than a big turbo and a chip to run a sub 10.............induction kit and a big back box at least.....l

Hasn't been here for a while though!

I have spoken to Stu and his crowd on many occasions, always found them pleasant and game for a laugh.

everyone can be the same, i cant do two things at once and hate talking to people if i have to fix something on the car

ive always found them ok to talk with but ive never spoken to them when they have been busy

I had the misfortune to race against him last year. Up until that point I had been fairly happy with my consistant 14.3s. Lamb to the slaughter doesn't even begin to describe the race. I have never seen such a fast and well driven car. Never spoken to him, but fuck me, that guy can drive (and is obviously a little handy with the spanners too)

too right, i'd rather have nics well sorted turbo than a b16 install any day.
