No it isn't. It also looks as there might be a crack in the casing, but I cannot see because the picture is so shite.

Why not let the autofocus settle before taking pictures????

No crack in the casing.. i had someone take the pinoin off.. do you think he could of done this?

Hmmm bugger.. so he fu**ing bent it.
How could he off done that
Bollocks.. pissed off now... :(
Oh well sump off. would i have to take the pinion off again to do this job.

I can only assume, if it was bent during removing the pinion, he used a 'less than normal' means of locking the box up - maybe jammed something between the shaft and the gears?

He used some sort of air gun. the sort of thing you do wheel nuts up with..
What a plonker.
So would i need to get the pinion off do change the fork rod ?
If so, thats gonna be hard lol

So do i have to get the pinion back off.. bloody cow boys :( i wanted to get her all together. anyone give me a run down on what i should get replace etc please :) while ive got the sump off.. im gutted ... hope its easy..

So im gonna give it a go.. wish me luck lads... blimy, now ive got to try get that pinion off *laughing*

as for what to change... do a search, been covered loads of times

The metro and mini book dont tell u much. so i got an old old mini book book, which tells me so much more.. anyway, cant get the bearings off. saying i need this and that tool etc... nightmare... gonna have to get the shop to do it. :( unless someone whos near kent knows how, and whats to do the job for a price ?

I live in london. but the cars in kent herne bay, which is where i am now of course *tongue*
Anyway, my brother come down and helped me out.. went by the very old haynes, which got 50p :) and bonjour, we got the gears out. with a few bearing poping out from the brings lol but we found them..
amazing what u can do when u put ya durr mind to it *tongue*
Just have to wait for rod now.. then hoping everything goes back together ok.. any problems ill ask..
