Renting a vehicle with a towbar

Need to do this for MITP as i broke one towcar, and the other 2 i can borrow are in use.

Best price i've got so far is for a renault master LWB or another place with a Hilux, both the same price, the renault being more useful i'd say as i may also combine it with moving house.

£47 a day so £94 for the friday night to monday morning.

Anybody else done anything similar and found good places to go?

save the money and stop being a girl and drive the mini to mitp

i've had smilar problems in the past - not a lot of hire companies like you towing for some reason. The other option is to get yourself down to th auctions and buy someting with MOT and towbar - sell it on when you are done

even in pikeysville essex you can't seem to rent anything with a tow bar, insurance reasons I guess....

I found this oput last week when the girfreinds mum blew the head gasket on her chinqinchento in cambridge..... had to recover it to essex.... damn things still in bits....

you can get all your camping stuff and tools and a pasenger and there stuff in a mini. i do it all the time (yes i have a mini van but now i have space to bring a motorbike) we went to LeMans for the week with 2 people in an MGB roadster and 2 people in an Austin healey 3000 my van etc and we all got our stuff in our cars.

if space is that limited (but its not) get the other half to drive another car with all the crap in.

The only girls I've know to put up with this kind of squeezing are girls who also drive anarchic, unpractical cars (minis, beetles, etc) and know what this shit is like LOL!

There are many reasons to trailer a car to an event but at the end of the day they are excusses and not reasons.

normal excusses
1. too far Crap. i drove to LeMans and back without a trailer
2. not enough space Crap. I drove to LeMans for a week of camping
3. it may breakdown get AA cover
4. not road legal What a waste of a car, get it MOT'd

only the true die hard enthusiast drives there mini to events
