Out of the ones I have seen first hand I can honestly make these comments;

KAD: quite light but yet to see a set off a car where there is not some movement in them. Sometimes an obvious bend, other times just a relaxation in the geometry. Probably ok for a regularly checked race car but I would personally not use them on a road car as I don't believe it'd need much of a pot hole incident to damage them.

Delta Mini: Fabricated tubular / sheet arms. I have known one set of these but I wasn't impressed. They appeared well made but I wasn't sure if they had been stressed out right and could seem them getting damaged easily. They are madly expensive and probably only useful for a track car.

Specialist Components (JohnK): These are very nicely made, well designed and look like they should be near bomb proof (for a lightweight part). Not really important but nice none the less, available in a range of colours. Every time I talk to John at a show I have to stand with my back to the radius arms and my hand firmly on the wallet or else I'd have about 4 sets by now .... one of which would be on the wall as a piece of art ... LOL

There are others out there but I have no experience of them.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Could be worng but I think John's first attempts were tubular steel, before he started the billet ones.

Only the KAD ones can be used with standard doughnuts as far as I know.

All the rest need coilovers.

I think your right Wil however if your going light weight then not a lot of point in keeping the subframe.

The unspung weight will obviously help anyway but unless the racing regs stated you couldn't the first thing in the skip would be the rear frame as I'd be on coil overs anyway.

Johns old company, jakspeed (I think) made som tubular ones, I guess there is a reason why he stopped and started making the billet ones instead...

Cor - some of you have good memories!! I decided there was more to life than welding T45 together!!lol Much easier life designing them then getting a machine to do the hard work. Don't forget the TM discount still stands.

I am sure that JohnK will be about to confirm in a while but IIRC it's 12%. Originally it didn't apply to the arms but I think he has found a away to offer discount on the arms too now.

As I say, just from memory, best confirm with the man himself.

Thanks Mini13, Roger - yes the 12% does apply to all the parts in the SC portfolio. If there are any questions about the arms please let me know, if you were to do a group buy I'll offer an even better price - sorry Roger!!!

Matt - lol!!
