As far as I can remember they aren't very comfy at all and they don't seem to hold you on the sides to well either!

For the money the Corba Clubmans seem to be a much better seat.

I have never owned either.. But lets just say from working in a certain *cough* *cough* car parts supplier that the impression I got from sitting in them!

I wouldn't recommend the Cobra Clubmans. I bought a pair for mine but after driving down to pod as a passenger in a mates car. I sold mine as soon as I got home, back was killing me!

They were solidly built but absolutely no lower back support.

Ive got forzas, The only thing i dont like bout them is that on long journeys i have no arse!!

And i wouldve prefered a side mounted seat, as they are easier to remove.

Clubmans are a pile cause you lean back in em. Didnt like em one bit.

Cobra Monacos are reasonably priced and fit in a Mini OK, I've used them before.

The monacos's are what id go for if youre considering forza's, as i think they are around the same price range but are alot better seat!

Ive got the Cobra Imola S and its basically a sidemount version of the monaco but more fitted, really good support and comfortable too! Obviously you get what you pay for, so the monaco is the best value for money for what it is definately!

I have forza's, the snazzy vinyl ones mind you and there are comfy i drove from rugby to the ring in one day and was fine. hold well round the waist and lower back to round corners.

your biggest worry with them will be actually getting hold of them mine took 10 weeks to arrive.

I've had Cobra Clubmans in the past and they were super comfortable .... cloth was a bit thin and didn't take long to start wearing though.

I love the reclined seating position they give .... perfect for us short legged, longer backed, longer still arms drivers.

Is the above proof that I'm not that evolved from a Gorilla in stature??? Oh well at least they are a masterful creature ... lol

The up side is that I am the person a certain itialian sports car maker deigns their seating position for .... how I miss my 328GTB .... but no the bills

Back on topic the Monaco's do seam like a fairly good seat for the money ..... can anybody shead any light on how they hold up after a few years of use??

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

A bit late if you've already spent you pennies but what about Sparco Sprint 5s, side mounted, FIA approved & a pretty comfortable (but then I'm built like Kate Moss) also Merlin sell them.

Spent a few minutes in Merlin today and sat in every seat they had.

Out of the standard width seats I could only fit in 1, the Sparco Pro2000. Although I have a bit of a gut I've not got a fat arse or hips so it's no the base that causes trouble. I can't get my shoulders in!!!!

Rob I know your built like a catwalk model that has just recovered from a serious gastric illness but how do you get into the 5s????? My shoulders were resting nearly on the outer edges of the upper supports!!!!

Looks like it's the Cobra's in GT spec (genreally tubby??????) for me as I've heard bad things about the fabric on the Pro2000s not lasting long.

I was playing around with my seats earlier this evening trying to work out where to mount the gear stick, hand brake & switches, and despite being amazingly comfortable I actually found the seats sightly on the large side. I must try harder, only managed two double burgers, a slice of cake, a few chocolate biscuits & a bacon scarny, at combe. As an aside if you want a go in the clubby you'll have to provide your own seat!

One of mine does, the others fine. I fitted the clonky one for the passenger. only problem with the monaco's is they weigh loads. 13kg each I think mine weighed. with subframes that is.
