at last i have the manifolds and turbo!!
trial fitted and all managed to squash in, im off to town tomorrow to get some fittings for the oil bits and water pipes and hopefully next weekend i should be in 1 piece....but then im going on holiday for a week which buggers up the running in and setting up before avon
here are some piccys:

manifold , turbo and down pipe (off the car-obviously)


manifold on car, theres a fingers gap between the turbo and bulkhead! but a longer engine steady has sorted this, get busy with the welder, or by an adjustable one from minispares


manifold on with the carb, it fits in with the standard mg metro inlet

damn stupid holiday getting in the way, i only decided to go because theres a girl i fancied going

forgot to say, im mounting the actuator off the heat shield for the carb that ive made, pics soon

what turbo are you running with those manifold, is it the standard turbo

no its a slightly twiddled thing from mirage, supposed to give slightly better drivability which will be good when thrashing it around the lanes!!

i wasnt gonna go dispite her "wanting to make me cum!!", but then i thought i would be finished in time so i paid up to go, what a mistake, wish i wasnt now

Did the downpipe clear the pot joint ok ? it's hard against it on my Mirage kit ....

The turbo (mirage T2H1) is a hybrid. Uses a a different trim compressor wheel and reprofiled T2 compressor housing. Also has a 360 deg thrust bearing.

If my thinking is correct did you get your manifolds at the start of the year ? if so did you send it back to me when i said there had been a error made on the last batch i had made??? (rectified) Just looking at your pics it looks like a previous batch. i'm surprised you are having an issue with clearance on the cv.

ok if this works this will be may car posing whilst i was having a bbq..


and this is my engine bay after a day of working on it, i was feeling very week as i was sick 6 times the night before, its looking very complete but isnt, still need to bolt on various pipes, do the intercooler and everything else that i cant currently remember

so you meant actuator?
yeah its got to be that side so that it will fit in, mirage modded the tab thing for the wastegate so it works on that side
