To make a noticable difference would probably require alot of insulation.

Good to hear you have been out for your first test drive:):)

It's mad lol it's like a Go kart *tongue*
My mate said he could here me coming up the road.
Everyone looks at you. they must be thinking, whats wrong with his car lol

Got few things to sort out.
The head lights work when they want to lol
The oil temp is not working, nore the turbo gauge. which a mate installed. but he must of done it wrong.
Got my mate whos shit hot on electrics is gonna help sort it out.
I noticed the steering wheel was pointing at 10 o/clock while the car was going in a straight line lol.
So tracking needs doing.
when going from 1st to 2nd, it pops abit.
I set the timing to 12-deg.
I also used that colour tune. did all that before i drove it, and it was shite lol..
The car seems to like it running rich *oh well*(THAT OK) ?
Have to adjust the reverse light abit more.
Also, the dump valve dont make that noise it's meant to *surprised*
Part from that. im getting there.
Will it pass MOT running rich ?

Thanks everyone for your support and help over these mad months :) very much appreciate :)

write everything on a list, and stick it on the windscreen and just work through the niggles one at a time

you might struggle MOT time witha rich mixture

Glad you've got it going, you'll get used to it! *wink*

If its not pulling to one side then its easier to move the steering wheel round on the splines than re-adjust the track rod ends, to get the steering wheel straight. *wink*

Have you blocked off the poppet valve?

Boost gauge and vacuum need to come from the inlet manifold. Same place as the servo.

Take it to a rolling road and get the fuel/timing sorted properly.

Why do you think the car likes to runs rich ?
I tried leaning it off, but it had flat spots.
Guess RR will sort that out :)

And you was right. but i couldn't help it, as this was my first time building a gearbox :)
Im running a T piece between the pipe coming from the Regulator To the Plenum. always had it this way and worked fine.
The dump valve is opening and closing ok, just not that funky noise you get *tongue*
Im sure will sort it out today :)
Thanks for all your help rich mate.*wink*

Well done, main thing though is PLEASE don't drive it hard until you have had it rolling roaded somewhere that knows Mini Turbos. It is vital you get it setup properly as otherwise you CAN end up with a severly fucked engine very quickly!
