Retro Cars Magazine – it’s back!

Some of you may remember this mag from a couple of years ago, well, it's back!

Set for relaunch in a few months, RC has been taken over by Unity Media, publishers of Performance VW, Performance BMW, Performance Ford, Banzai, Retro Ford, GT Porsche, BMW Car and new launch title Performance Car.

We’re aiming to freshen up the old magazine’s look and feel, but keep the same level of enthusiasm for retro metal at the same time. As such we’re on the look out for potential feature cars and we’ll be putting ourselves about at various meets and shows over the coming months whenever possible.

If there’s something you think we should know about, or if you think you might have the perfect motor for us, then get in touch at my address (mwphotography"at"fsmail.net). We’ve got big plans and projects in mind but RC is your mag, so if there’s something you want to see don’t be afraid to give us a shout.

regards
Matt

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

I did enjoy this mag although some of the articles got a bit poor towards the end. I suppose it also comes down to finding good cars to feature.

The biggest problem was actually finding a copy in the shops to buy..

I'll certainly buy it again - let us know when it will be out.

The success of PPC proves that there is a market out there. PPC doesn't take a month to read either so another mag like Retro (if done properly) should do well.

IIRC, retro was deliberately made diffuclt to find, by the publishers (not the editors / staff) who wanted to 'drop' the magazine... I recall the only place i ever saw the last two copies that i found was both at motorway service stations...
Not in any of the 'regular' outlets for sure. If this has the full backing of the publishers, then it'll work.
