cheers mini13 i had a look at the link but wasnt sure how he managed to conect that little adapter to the grease gun.

Shorten the rods on the hydrolastic's once you've got your pump. On 19th Jan, 2010 wil_h said:

I pumped my old metro turbo up, i was going to shorten the rods and pump it up to a higher pressure to hopefully stiffin it up as it was like a boat! but it got robbed! |

if you drop the wheels of there is a plate with the bump stop on held by 4 bolts. Remove this (after letting all the fluid out) and remove it, the hydro unit will then come out, in the bottom of it is a rod that the top arm knuckle joint fits in, pull the knuckle joint out and you may fine a washer each side you can remove, if not you can trim a bit from the rod. dont take too much though as the sprin in the rod will bottom out.

Never use Citroen LHM Fluid in Hydragas displacers. It eats through the rubber that separates the nitrogen from the fluid. |
