So shall I paint the centres, probably black, or leave them shiny?

Totally depends on the car.

If they were mine I'd be painting them black.

Car will be red with black roof eventually. Possibly black Gp2 arches.

black outside red inside.

I gather there anodised ?, not just polished. if the latter then defo paint them or ul never keep them clean.

The black wont show off the spokes as nice.

id get the centers anodised gold, looks good with that colour scheme.

If thweyre anodised I'd leave as is,

if not anodised black would look good, red would be too much red IMO, gold would look good to as would a clear (silver) anodise.

personally I couldn't bring myself to paint a set of machined wheels.

i NEED a set of these

either annodised or polished and OOHHH suits you sir i want a set.

colourcode the centre's if your having a bit of chrome keep the polished lips if not black :)

I used a proprietary aluminium primer.

I expect that it will all come off within a month.

Built one up today. I'll leave it overnight to see if it holds pressure before doing the other three.



This is the 165/70/10 on a 5.5" rim compared to a 165/60/12 on a 4.5" rim.



Much better contact patch.

Plus they fit under standard arches and should not induce torque steer.
