Hi Ben. Yes Nigel Mansell had a genuine JANSPEED turbo conversion carried out on a metro. I got this info from a former JS emploie. No thats all I got on that?. Talkin of vids, I filmed my JANSPEED turbo mini when she kicked into life after 9 years, but its on my phone so I dont know how good it is on big screen?
Maybe I bring her ower for the 50 year anneversery next year ?

Is this the mini that was in the MiniMag when we had MiniWilliams and Nic also in there?

Come on, lighten up. No-one has criticised your commitment and standards of work, just that the radical 70s styling looks a bit dated.

you fully admit it's not your styling.

Hi, glad to see you found your way here. Don't worry about the comments, they're a friendly bunch generally !
Besides your car & the one on ebay, i've only seen one other Janspeed kit for sale in bits, oh & my engine. Any idea how many they made ?
Phil. :)

Hi again please get your facts right if you thrash other peoples cars, 1st, I just restored it, I didnt come up with the idea of the twin headlight conversion, (w&p did), 2nd if you thrash other peoples cars at least get your facts right- the lights are genuine LUCAS ROUND 5 3/4 headlights,3d a YUGO NEWER had a twin headlight grille-not any model ( I worked at the import place ) and ewen had 1 for a short while (my dark past). I see a lot of minis in magazines, or at car shows, or on web pages, and there
is a LOT that is not made to my taste, but dont forget the car you look at is someones most cherished thing, that they spend all there hard erned cash on, (and spare time). You are of course entitled to say its nothing for your taste, but dont use that kind of words. All I wanted was to hear, if anyone knew of a JANSPEED turbo Metro that was on the road ?

Sorry if I affended anyone. Just a point of view. I just love the traditional mini look. Even if I hate the look of a car, I still appreciate the effort people put in. :) Yes I own a metro...hardly the most desirable car, but they are fun to drive & handle well. From a driving point of view, I couldn't really give a shit how a car looks.
