So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Well,,, i hope there was enough room on who-evers computer runs this site to cover the responses via PM that i`ve recieved,,, holy cow there was a mad rush

anyways, i think we might need to get you all together & sort a bulk purchase out because i will be able to do a pack of 10x kits much cheaper & also freight should be substansiably cheaper in one big box too

Turbo EXhaust manifolds & Extractors are seperate, but we can sort who wants what with that lot as time goes by i`m sure,,, i can tag them all as for who has paid for what & maybe allocate a single trustee to sort it all your end

I`m sorry about the other guys from all other places in the world, as Germany & Poland & Japan etc, we will have to talk seperately i`m afraid,,, i have allready had talks with a friend in the States who may well take the deal to distribute them for me in the states, so someone in England might want to put his hand up to tAKE CARE OF THINGS THAT END YEAH>>???

Find your own cyl heads cause that would be just stupid for me to send you heads when you guys probably have more of them over there than we do here,,, maybe we can do a deal with you sending me heads & i send you fitting kits *smiley*

anyways,,, thanks heaps for the response it`s been quite overwhelming.

Please don`t forget to order specifically 8v or 16v too please as i`ve refined these kits over time & the front cyl head plate & lower sealing flange are different for the 2 heads, that`s all

small bore kits is also slightly different with regards to the belt & tensioner, but all the plates & pulleys remain the same for both small & big bore engines, i`m setting all that up at the moment & will have a small bore screamer donk happening shortly, but i really do suggest you go 1275 or bigger with these kits as the end result is far better concidering the cost for both will be very similar with regads to the fact that there is far mor work to be done to "Correctly" sort a small bore cyl spacing etc etc & why whould you want a small bore anyways??? *smiley* *smiley* *smiley* (That`s a Joke,,, i`m obviously biased towards big bores, sorry if that offends all you small bore nutters) *smiley* *smiley* *smiley* You get thatin the big city, build a bridge & get over it *smiley* *smiley* *smiley*

Replys have been sent to all who have asked , but don`t forget that there will be some other stuff like water outlet to & thermostat to radiator, Bottom hose, L/H engine steady bar brkt, oil filler, oil drains & engine breathers to sort out, but as you should all know there is plenty of ways to stuff a chicken & most of that stuff is shown here on this site allready , if you`re a bit lost then all you have to do is ask, i will be more than happy to sit here & type replys for hours on end to anyone keen to learn what to to, i am in the process of sorting out a build guide onto CDs, but as you can imagine with all the options --> 8v, 16v N/A, or Turbo, Big bore/small bore, injected, or carbed etc etc etc,,, there is quite a lot to cover & probably pointless setting up 6 different CDs, i`m just going to shove it all into one with pics, text, videos etc etc etc,,, but it will take some time... so don`t be scared to ask questions, i`m more than happy to oblige

cheers
Matt

Hopefully I'll be the 1st "Pom" to buy one of these kits, my deposit will get to him Monday morning.
I've been talking to Matt about these for the last 18 months, hopefully he will post some more detailed pictures that show the quality of the kit, not just in overall finish but in engineering design.

Vic

Ps how do I post a picture (need to show you my sister*tongue*)

The coil-over igniters are from a toyota yaris, sorry but i`m not sure what it`s called over there but are pretty much the same as very late model corrolla & lexus etc,,, Niffty hey? *smiley*

anyways,,, as i said a few posts ago, i`ve been going over our costings on all the material & labour & all the stuff we out-sourced & found that there has been at least 2 stuff-ups with costing on these kits, both with materials & time on the CNC , so hopefully they will be quite a bit cheaper than i`ve previously suggested, i`m waiting on all the figures to confirm all our costs so we can double check everything & re-calculate,,, some invoices havn`t been processed & some have been processed twice somehow

ah well,,, you just can`t get good help these days hey? *smiley*

i will know a firm figure by this weekend , again sorry for the stuff around

& on another note,,, altho i understand that there will be extra costs involved with shipping & taxes etc with freighting these things over the pond to you guys, i`m fairly confident that we can come close to matching the price of the SC,,, BUT!!! i`m not positive that it would be worth your while unless a big batch of them are packaged & sent in one hit,,, Wil has put his hand up (via PM) to help with regards to the possiblity of sorting out organising who wants what & organising orders & funds gathering, & i also have a friend here in OZ with a bank a/c set up at your end already,,, but as i`ve said, i`ll know a firm figure by this weekend & if it`s a bit better than what you can buy them for over there, then cool,,, but the freight & taxes may kill the idea altogether... that`s what has slowed the sales of Johns kits here in OZ as it`s the same deal in reverse, if you get my drift.

cheers & thanks for your patients

Thanks Miniwilliams, it`s alway nice to get compliments *smiley*

Pickmeup,,, if you look at the first pick in this thread you will see a full kit sitting on the tarp inbetween the 2 engines, that`s what you get but add a timing belt, a bottom rad hose pipe adaptor & an engine steady bar braket

i am really liking the look of these kits :), as i dont currently have an engine i am starting from scratch and this convertion is on the cards *happy*

anyway, say i bought your kit and i have a running engine (5port) what else do i need to be able to build up the k headed engine?

*machined block, what actualy needs to be done?
*does the head need machining?
*pistons machined for valve pockets

is there anything i have missed?
thanks alot
