I believe there is a shortage of these bearings, Some one said that there will be new stock around decemeber, but if you can find some one who has one, buy it, dont hang around.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

You have no idea how long I have looking for a double roller! Mine came out in bits, minispares were asking £50 in the begining but when I ordered one they said they were out of stock. I contacted hythe performance as they were selling them for £25, but when I went to order they said that it would cost £75 and finally minisport say they are negotiating with a supplier (thats been 2 weeks of negotiating now). Minispeed say they are the only place in the world that has them, I haven't contacted them yet though. I need to get the gearbox together sharpish too! On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

Looks like we will have to sit it out until they become available. I think the prob is the ones that they have been selling are rover sourced, they now have to go get someone to make them. Be prepared to pay a lot when they become available again! On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

Someone on here must have the details on the bearing? An independant supplier would be your best bet like bearing trader or similar. Edited by matty on 2nd Oct, 2008. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

I purchased a new-unused bearing a few weeks ago when I first heard of the 'drying up' of parts... It is far from a good state of affairs.

Unfortunatley i can't give an exact figure but we will have enough to supply demand without any problems. They won't be £70 either lol. |

Why dont you try 'guessworks' on 'the mini forum', i would think he would have a few of these on the shelf as he builds mini gearboxes |
