OK - So my project car really isn't anywhere near completion, but while trying to get my head around what I might want on my dash I decided i'd ask what guages people have on show.

boost, reliable tacho, oil pressure, oil temperature, air fuel, water temp, volts, speedo?? standard mini one are never good rember my black and silver one! fuel level you already have, i have been thinking about inlet temperatures but does that really benifit anything apart from knowing how hot/cold things are Drives

If you are able to control your inlet temp you can safely increase your boost without fear od detonation and you also narrow the thermal change felt across the turbo.

you can get a fuel pressure gauge where the sensor is the other side (basically a membrane) and then the gauge inside. All mechanical but means fuel stays in the engine bay.

Me. but a terminated fuel terminal inside the car doesnt sound good to me. Epecially around wiring.

Im glad some one agrees:) Some one may be able to confirm, but im sure the blue book says that if the fuel lines that are run inside the car, must be contuous length and no terminated ends within the cabin. Iain, you are correct, have you seen the price though, and how often do you need to check your fuel pressure
