We're trying to sort out a few bits to do with the miglia, can someone translate this for us please?

Cychwynnwr = Starter

Pwmp Petrol = no matches for that one. my guess would be petrol pump...

Goleadau? = nothing for that either. maybe ive spelt it wrong. cant really see it.

Sychwyr = Wiper

Goleadau Glaw = Nothing for that.

Swits LLadd = no matches.

I just used a translater on google.

glaw is rain :)
lladd is kill, and judging by what its next to itll be the kill switch.

Goleuadau is light so theres a switch for light, and light rain

evo, your car looks like its changed in the DP? its obviously a new pic but has anything changed or is it just the fact that its a new pic?

dinnae want to drag this o/t. that pic is how the car sat after i drove home from avon park then took that pic the next morning.

car is currently undergoing some work aimed squarely at improving my 1/4 mile but nothing cosmetic mate :)

So are we assuming that they are combined switches and fuses?

There are no other switches for the lights etc, yet those six knobs have a number that appears to be a fuse rating.

they look a little like the automotive 'trip switches', where instead of blowing a fuse, they just pop out when overloaded

or maybe as you say both fuse and switch, if there are no other switches for the said uses, then thats more probable..

but....i cant believe youve resisted playing with them, if i dont know what something does, id have to turn it on to find out lol

Yea all above is right, and the switches are all circuit.

So to summarise:

Taniad = Ignition

Cychwynnwr = Starter

Is the rain light the big red light on the parcel shelf? I though that was the brake light.

There are still two more switches un-labelled. I think we are going to have to power it up and see what happens. As long as we do not switch on the fire extinguisher we will be OK

I think there was some spare switches, but not 100% sure how many,

The light on the rear shelf is a rain light and not break light.

to be honest, as the battery has been stood for over 4 years, I don't think it's going to come back to life.
