Cheers Guys, yes sorry about that hoggy. Not really sure what it is this time, i'm feeling it could be in the drop gear area, but how knows. depending on whats gone is weather i got doggy boxy or not :( but i can't keep pissing around like this...........NO end of year power run pisses me right off lol. the last set from quaife was cryo treated but after strip down we will have to see. but i am afraid you have gone well passed the designed max for the normall gear sets.

the layshaft is the same in the swifty box at least. What kind of problem does he have with that? wear from the bearings? The swifty gearset only have two bearings on the layshaft, but they are a bit different to the normal ones IIRC. Also do buy the layshaft together with the kit from Swifty as its supposedly a good item. |

Just drained oil out, and there was the normal geatr tooth on the oil drain plug.

well my first thoughts were correct for once. A tooth has parted company with the idler gear. So i've going to replace all 3 drops if there isn't a world shortage. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

NO mate I do run the mini spares set but WITHOUT the timkin idler, I can't really see the point TBH. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph
