So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

There's one for sale less than a mile from my house, just as shame they want £20K for it.

Yes they do have a gold plate price tag.

There is on on ebay with a £10k price tag, but that has 135k miles on it

Yeah i see quite a few kicking around my way. I do live three miles from Lotus Cars though. It was my all time favourite street sleeper until Audi brought the rs4 out.

They were £50k when new though, that must have been a big dent in 1991

The good thing about that Sunbeam is that it is not just a show car - it is has been built to be used and competed in!
And not up and down 'clean' 1/4 mile strips either but rallied.

Very nice - learnt to drive in a souped up red sunbeam!
THAT red one though was extremely rapid if I remember rightly, 11's or very low 12's?

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

Looks like Norris Motorsports Sunbeam. The thing is absolutely immaculate, yet it still gets caned and is used for competition. Saw it at Ten of the Best earlier in the year - certainly is an amazing machine.
