Minisport 7.9's with their 4 pots are designed to go under 10's but I think it depends on which 10's you've got. I know people who have had clearance problems with them and had to use spacers.

I have KAD vented 4 pot 7.9" brakes. I tried fitting Dunlop D1s but there wasnt a hope. They are one of the most restrictive wheels out there. Mamabas are supposed to be similar. I now have Wellers. I think the extra width due to the vented disc is what caused most of my fitment issues. But then again, why bother getting fancy brakes if they are non-vented?

You'll need the cooper s drive flanges as well.

I have the S setup on the MkI and I have to say its great not a huge difference to my KAD on the coop, I think I am going to get a set of good pads and cross drilled disc

depends which 10's? I run KAD 6 pots on 8.4" discs under my mb racing wheels, I think scruffy runs the same brakes under spectrums, and i'm sure force wheels will be the same.....depends on budget and all that really......

If you buy the "kit" it should include the flanges - mine did, just check what the kit includes.

6pots not great for everyday/wet/winter use as no dust seals! Otherwise great brakes

Don't they do a set with the dust seals now? Or is that only the 4 pots?

If it wasn't ordered as a kit you might be missing a few bolts and fitting pins - didn't Minisport advise you ???

yer i got all the fittings and pins... 7.5 discs.... atm im running standard brakes on a servo... so going to run alloy minisport cooper s 4pots without a servo

i have got the master cylinder and pedal box to change from servo

all i need to know is if that i need anything else other than

calipers, discs, pads, fitting kit, drive flanges and hoses?

ah right, more or less what im running, i think your about set mate, have you got the pad retaining plates? one on each caliper, 4 screws for each of the flanges and 4 HT bolts to bolt the caliper to hub, thats all i can think off at the moment??
Also, are you upgrading from drums? if so the hubs are different.

So long as the fitting kit has the bolts/plates/pins listed by dan-up, sounds OK.

The only "suggestion" I would add is to put new conical washers in when you fit the new flanges (the tapered one with the split under the big nut) - these are often an issue with preventing the wheel bearings being preloaded correctly, especially if they have even been let come loose and hence got worn.
