Just had her recently resprayed, dunno why I bothered as mother nature gave me a better colour scheme for free lol. When she's thawed out properly I'll show you boys and girls what she's actually like.

Right, decided I better crack on with this suspension jobby as my bits have finally arrived and being a hard person I am to please, certain objects have gone for powder coating to match my colour scheme.

This is what she was like before I started touching her, clearly crying out for a major clean!






Then after a few hours and some elbow grease this is what she is what she is ment to look like...









Now I gotta crack on with the front, however there are a few more bits that need the tooth brush to clean them so it can wait till this weekend when I have more than 2 hours to use.

Just finished my spec for rebuilding the engine again but turbo this time. So keep your eye's peeled.

Well she's only ever seen one winter and to be honest, that was it's last but then the salt didn't damage much just dissapointed in the powdercoating I had done so everything I have sand blasted now get's copper plated like this



then powder coated over. Best idea I recon.

Cheers Ollie, forgot you haven't seen it since it came back from the body shop, and sisters mini is running, just dad and I are in the process of rebuilding the radius arm's with the needle roller bearings. But when I say in the process of it, I mean trying to find the locking wheel nut remover which is somewhere in the shed ... lol

I washed my mini last night. It still looks the same as it did before....

initially i was expecting a map with a big arrow pointing at a city, but this is much better. keep up the good work mate

Right update on what I've been up to. Started cleaning under the wheel arches on the front.





Was a bit grubby so took me a good 2 hours. After that was completed it was a matter of waiting for bits to arrive back from the powder coaters. Then Friday came and WooHoo I was like a little kid again with my new toys



This is how good the powder coaters are



So I set out to start fitting everything starting with the front thinking I'd be on each side for 30 mins to an hour as it couldn't be hard... How wrong was I. Drivers front side took me a good 4 hours after realising the top arm had to come off to fit the suspension cone .... with that I realised how much of a b**ch it was to get too and struggled. Never the less I was determinded and got it completed. Now with having an idea in mind the otherside took half that but still couldn't beat the fact of undoing the top arm bolts was a bugger so this time the radiator had to move for it to make it easier for me. Anyways this is the finally look of it



And the rear I just finished which like I predicted had nothing hard to fit and was done in 30 mins



Now to tackle the engine bay ready for the Riveria Run



Anyways now she's back and clean again underneath starting carry on collecting my bits for her to be turboed.

Yea got a chrome rocker cover tthinking it was the same as mine as the rockers just miss the wall of the cover but ended up being a smaller one so I'm stuck in what to do whether to take it off and have it plated and powder coated or what. I'll decide closer to the time. What I just saw on my car is it isn't sitting as low as I'd liked it to be but then I dunno if that's cause the front end is still jacked up. Can wait till tomorrow when I change my rack boots again.

if you want a hand getting anything sorted mate ready for our trip to riv run give me a call :), it is looking good mate, should get a 4wheel alighnment and corner weights and heights done too :) handeling for the run

No anyone in Swindon Paul that will do that? I only know that imperial tyres do 4 wheel alignment so that's where it will be going for that.
