ok here it is, i've removed the front subframe and engine so its up on stands at the moment.




when was the car last on the road???

update, i got a bit of welding done today, on a hole in the drivers floor started to cut off the passenger side a panel, there's a few more pics of the car as well.

i get my cheque from the uni next week so i can put some money in to the car. another update soon!

did a bit more welding inside the car today, all that needs doing now bodywork wise is a panels, one sill the rear valence and one corner of the boot floor. i also ordered my mega squirt so ican do mapped ignition, like ben h, i also saw this exhaust, its a bit jon boy but what do you reckon??

got some brakes today to replace the old drums.

quick update, i have now got my mega squirt ecu , so i'm on the way to mapped ignition heaven :)
i have also just ordered some 6x1o wellers so it should hopefully be off the stands and rolling again soon!

just the circuit board and the map sensor and chips, i need to go to maplins and get the resistors and that.

yeah, it came over here well fast actually, i wasn't expecting it until nearly christmas :)

i've just ordered, new barke and clutch master cylinders, brake lines and some new wheel cylinders for the rear brakes and i have also got my bias adjuster on the way.
i have also been stripping all of the paint out of the engine bay ready for some fresh paint, then i can put the front subframe back in get the wheels and brakes on and hopefully get it rolling and get the brakes working soon, then i can start welding.

where did you get the bias adjuster! ?

the turnbo iv got 'ere could probably do with one ,currently has the space for one right next to the handbrake but just has an inline female - female conenctor in its place

i went for the knob style adjuster because after doing a bit of research i found out you can get more fine adjustments from it than the lever,

master cylinders etc arrived today and i am ordering some new panels in the next day or so so hopefully some real progress will be made, the only problem is now i'm at uni free time seems to get more and more difficult to find, but at least i get 4 weeks xmas holiday so i can get on with some work over xmas.
i will try and get some more pics up asap.

i've also ordered some new panels to get some welding done weather permiting, i've also got some heacy duty tie rods coming and i am going to order some negative camber bottom arms so i can build the front subby back up, the engine bay is nearly paintless now so i can give it a lick of paint and start refitting the parts to the bay.

just got a performance meter so i can check the effectiveness of engine mods, ignition map changes etc on the mini, i can also practice my 1/4 miles with the timer built in to it.
oh yeah and i can look flashy with it on the dash
