Holes are to let the air out of ,stop it colecting at the back of the wings slowing it down.

Didnt Tom say that he wasnt all that impressed with the set (same set i imagine?) at Coombe? perhaps they are wearing in and coming good? the same tyres , but they are acctually about 5 years old, so compared to new are probably crap. i thought they were good on the day, as being crossply and very stiff carcass, the turn in is very good compared to my usual Hoosier slicks, which have a thin carcass. i had to have 2 warm up laps to get some kind of heat into the rears or as i found out it will oversteer if asked to do to much work, [ never a good time to find out]lol i was gonig to put the Hoosier slicks on for some back to back comparisons but realised they have a differeent drive peg dia off my Twinnie. carl |
