My parents have had neighbours from hell for 2 years, parties till 5am every other weekend with enviromental health doing sod all about it, the tosser that owns the house has recently lost his job at honda so is renting all the bedrooms out to his cnut mates and the noise and abuse to my parents has got worse

so far ive had heated words but as i cant catch any of them on there own ive not had a punch up

i cant see my mum in tears any more and need to sort these cnuts out without loosing my job for assult

any ideas? i will contact benefit fraud today as i believe the main cnut is claiming and renting rooms

benefits fraud squad is always a good call and make the enviromentalist council lot do their job too.
You need to keep a detailed log of times and whats been happening to build a good case.

the council will have an anti social behavior team, get in contact with them they should point you in the right direction. I work next door to the sandwell council one, and i hear of this kinda stuff daily.

if he is renting rooms how is this affecting things like tax, morgage ect

You can rent out a room tax free, it is up to about £300 per month, so if he is renting out more than one room the chances are it is more than that. Other than that I don't know what to suggest, I lived next door to an arsehole for a bit, luckily for him or me whenever I wound myself up enough to go and hammer on his door at 3 in the morning he would just say sorry and turn the music off straight away.

how many 'un-related' people are living in the house? if it is more than 3 there could be issues with planning, particulary with multiple occupancy (HMO).

Call the police. Every time you do they will have a record then call the council.

Im liking Andys idea, granted the more appropriate path to take would be to inform the local authorites, but come on im sure between us lot we can think on something more insane and funny, how about dumping couple of tons of shit on there driveway

Renting a room out only really becomes a problem if you are not living there. To have it tax free you need to live with your tennants.

Unfortunately there is no easy answer. All the above advise is good (except the setting it on fire)

ive spoken to the inland revenue today and if he earns less than 2.5 per year from renting the rooms its tax free other than that he has to pay tax, i have passed his details to fraud office
spoke to housing and there is an issue if you have more than one tenent with regards to renting rooms, planning fire regs ect so they also now are chasing this up

I have also found out where one of the cnuts parents live and there phone number, i will be making a call shortly explaining the situation, i will also make it clear that i will be treating them in the same way my parents are being treated ie being kept up to 5am, i will also let them know that on the first hint of noise i will be passing there adress and number onto all there sons neighbours

I know what i would do.

1. Id Get your rents to go somewhere nice for the week end.

2. Borrow some largeish Dj equiptment.

3. Put a few hard trance CD`s on a loop.

Fight fire with fire buddy. When they come to the door saying "Turn that shit off" just say "its what you do to my mum and dad every other week end so no fuck off" and shut the door

If he has lost his job, surely he would be claiming some kind of benefits as he has no income, how does letting rooms effect the benefits he can claim?

the noisy neihbours part of the coucil should be coming out every time it happens ,and then telling them to be quiet , if theyre not doing this ,is there an ombudsman you can report the council too?

if you dont want to loose your job neil from things getting out of hand film what they are doing document it with times and dates in and out of the house phone the police and let them know each time it happens it would surely have to stop then as you would have proof of everything then claim emotional damage :)
