right i will no longer be having a heater, so is it best to just block off outlet on the head or should i pipe it back into the rad? would this give better cooling?.
What do i do with the outlet on the back of the block which i believe the mechanical fuel pump goes? any help would be great thanks.

Back into the top hose, or top of the rad, is the best place for it.

A pump blanking plate, believe it or not, is the best thing to blank the pump hole....

what turbo have you? is it the standard Garret T3? if so, it uses the mech fuel pump fitment as the oil return.

If you're turboing, the Red top is of no use.

Easiest is to get hold of an MPI tank, it has the pump inside fitted plus has a fuel return on as well.

nope,

a red rop make about 7psi

you need a high pressure fuel pump, able to give 2-3psi on top of boost pressure (essentially a fuel injection pump that can deliver 50psi)

this then needs to be used with a fuel pressure regulator referenced to boost.

yea, like a bosch one, there good as long as you get the one,

i got one off ebay, brand new £50, then i checjed the part number on the bosch website and its more than adequate,

if you cant find and bosch ones try searching for a decent roller van pump, i think minispeed do one but its not cheap.
