Right i have just stripped down my 1752 to inspect the damage and its very clear that the seals on the hot side were completed shafted. The disk/oil thrower thing was saturated in oil. This explained why oil was in the manifold too but not in my head ports. I am guessing that the oil was being thrown up the inlet and wetting the manifold.

its just the ring that does the sealing mike ..its important that its a nice tight but free sliding fit in the groove .. if the groove is worn wider than the ring by much then it wont seal . Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

Right i have just reassemble the just the central part of the turbo and blown down the oil feed and air is pissing out of the hot side. Robert are you sure there is just a clip that goes in to seal it?

It wa one of the little collar parts, he machined something down, kit has arrived today so ill see if its ok. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Chaps i have aquired a newe shaft which isnt baldy damage like the other, however when trying to fit the oil seal spring it appears the slot has something in it.
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Could you not put the shaft in a lathe and take some material out of the slot until you can get a better shaft?? On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

mike ,whats happened is the ring has spun ,worn the sides of the slot ,and caried on doing this ,until its made a wide flared groove ,and the deformed metal has blended the bottom of the slot so it looks really thin .ulp ! the GT15's at my old work were same construction, i used to re-man then and ALOT had wear like yours, exhaust housing full of oil too.
