I'm currently training for a new job as an Offshore Source Mechanic for a geosurvey company.

Beats the hell out of jobseekers allowance that ive had for the last 8 months!!!

Are you now, I dabble in signalling design myself, mainly GRIP stages 2 and 3 rather than th boring actual design. Also investigate signalling failure and train accidents, plus EMC work and any other signalling related shit that people put in the 'to-hard-to-do' pile.

I think we've been here before. I did some time machine work for LUL the other year. Took a while to get my head round the diagrams compared to NWR stuff.

I'm in IT. My employers stated aim is to get through the current economic issues with no redundancies, which means no payrise or bonus, but it's a steady job so I feel I'm lucky.
