5280ft in a mile, 60mph=1 mile per minute, 60s in a minute in 1 second you travel 1/60th of a mile. 1/60th of 5280 = 88fps, 30mph (half 60 / 88fps) = 44fps.

With that sort of sighting the other car should have had sufficient time to slow enough to avoid a crash. However i sence this will be a 50/50 claim. |

If she was hit on the near side its the third parties liability. If she was hit on the off side then technically she pulled out infront of a car on a round about.

When you sketch the scene make it clear that he drove over the roundabout view the road again! You may even have a counter claim for wreckless driving as he technically could have been on the wrong side of the road. Get your missus down to the doctors as women do suffer soft tissue injuies in the lumber region from the slightest impacts. You can turn this around very easily Own the day
