Having modified my LCB I have a couple of small under cuts inside it, rather than dick about welding, grinding and making the pipe thinner what do you guys think about smoothing them out with chemical metal?
I seriously doubt it! |

The difference between the LCB and the head port is the operating temperature. The port, being cooled by the water, will run considerably cooler than the LCB.

i have used it on the y peice of the lcb after the weld on the join rusted away...it did a good few thousand miles after that, and i still have the lcb today!!! Yes i moved to the darkside |

Do it right paul, weld and grind! Got A GTM With A Honda In the Back, and huge Nitrous bottle where the passenger seat should be when racing!

Reminds me of the time that guy used chemical metal to de-seam his car. As he drove of the low curb from his drive the whole thing fell apart. I'm sure it was a letter in Mini World years ago, some guy complaining that chemical metal was being mis-sold!! Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
