well the old civic had to go a couple of weeks ago and it's just been replaced with a new project.







Got a bit of a bargain, 750 notes with MOT till August and tax till Feb.

The plan is to rip the back seats out and do a camper conversion. Then fit a tow bar and use it to drag the mini down to avon/pod.

not going to be throwing any money at lowering or anything, alloys on vans really piss me off aswell for some reason.

It'll get a respray and the steels will get redone too when i tidy up the bodywork in the spring and thats about it. Most of the cash will go on the inside.

Rob, it's a 2 litre petrol, does about 250 miles to £30 so not as bad as i was expecting really, and its got more grunt than the diesels.

Wil, there's plenty of windows to lick...i cleaned all the old drool off them last night though.

2l petrol should be pretty torquey too if my old golf was anything to go by

Would make a good tow and sleep vehicle for the Pod this weekend !

At least its not the guttless 2.4 wiesel! Those things wouldnt tow a fiberglass mini tub trailer!!!

My mate had a 1.9 diesel one of these. We used it to tow my 205 to Castle Combe once. OK it was slow, but it got us there and back all OK.

i used to drive a 1.9td one at my old work, used to trundle up the motorway at 70 with a ton in the back until it hit a hill...

I was looking for a 1.9td or the 2.4d but this one popped up local and at the right price, plus i was fed up with driving the mini to work and back.

itching to get started on the camper conversion now too.

My mates was a 1.9D. No "T" involved!

Been getting a bit of work done ont he bus when i can lately.

rear interior has all been ripped out, a chap from bristol gave me £280 for the back seats and plastics!!! almost got a semi when he offered me that much for em.

got the headlining out tonight and started to recover it ready. Going to insulate and ply line the sides and make a frame for the floor so i can insulate that then drop a ply floor on top.
