so the belt makes a noise due to the air escaping faster than the speed of sound lol...

I can see big v8's with wide belts making a bit of noise as they can take 100hp to run, but a bini charger takes what 5-10 hp?

Bini charger drive belt is not toothed. That there is the clue*wink*

The SC12 on my car has Helical gears.. and loads less noise. intresting
