wouldnt have a clue to be honest, my engine wont be strong enough to take a high hp turbo so i never realy look'd into it, it will put out 10 pounds of boost and should spool up pritty fast so it'll do the trick for the moment!

Are the brackets holding it to the engine staying or ar they just for manifold manufacture?

Also, what are those seats from, I like the look of them. I'd guess a Honda?

hey again every1, i'v made a little bit of progress, i tac weld'd most of the manafold together i just got one more angle to cut (tac's are pritty shit, my first time tig welding). If every one could hav a look and tell me if it look's ok before i get it welded together propperly it'd b a big help. (sorry bout the pic's, i had to use my phone)

made a bit more progress on the manifold, i finaly got it fully tack'd together and made up a brace to stop it from moving while it was being welded then sent it off to be tig welded, got it back today and it looks pritty sweet, now i just hav to run a dremel around the inside to get it a bit smoother, weld some more braces to the bracket and send it off to be stress relieved.
im hoping all this effort will result in a manifold wich will be strong and wich wont crack....... hoping!!

Looking good! The only thing that you may want to think about is linear expansion when the manifold heats up. With the straight lengths of pipe you have leading to the outer two ports, you will find the manifold will probably "grow" somewhat when at operating temp. I would at the lvery least consider making the holes for the studs to go through larger than neccessary, so as to give the manifold some room to expand when it is hot. If the holes are just at clearance size, you might find the expansion is enough to shear the studs off flush with the head? This was a common problem with the early 10v Audi Quattro turbos, compounded by the fact they used very strong stud material (can't remember correct matl? Stellite?) that you can't drill out......
Hopefully you will not have a problem, but just something to think about.

Looking very smart!

I don't want to piss on your bonfire, but have you tried then inside a wheel with the pads fitted? As this will cause the blue part of the caliper to move outwards towards the inside of the wheel face.....I hope you've already thought of that, but thought I'd point it out in case.

yea, i was told before i baught them a bit might hav 2 be ground off the outside of the caliper because i wonted to run 12inch wheels instead of 13", there is clearence but no more than about 1mm and that isnt enough for piece of mind. putting it all together was a bit tricky, had to do a bit of work in the mill to drill/tap holes in the right place but it could of been done by hand in a drill press. Seem's as the car that the breaks came off was only made in Australia u'd be better off goin for metro turbo breaks if you live anywhere else, any way, thanks for looking

just noticed that thewhole you have cut for your bulkhead box is very low is this because thetype of turbo you are using or what because i always thought that the box went through the main crossmember.

yea, wasnt too keen on cutting the cross member for strength reasons, probably woulda been ok anyway but.
I'll PM you a phone number for the bloke who sold me the set up, wen you get to Aus tell him you wont the "Holden Camira" disc break set up, tell him chris told you to call, probably set you back about $800-$900 Aus.
