I used to, it ran a 14.6 quarter mile in a standard weight car on road tyres

I seriously doubt it!

You cant ask the top speed of an engine, it depends on the gearbox.
At the time mine was geared for about 130mph, but whether it actually would have done that I dont know

I seriously doubt it!

garry, top speed will depend on a few factors

do you mean close ratio?

its also depends on your final drive too

these boys can rip the piss mercilessly when questions like these get asked, but dont worry about it, its all part of the banter

"Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

"did you know you can toast potato waffles?"

Count the teeth on the crownwhhel and divide that figure by the amount of teeth on the pinion, do the calculations depending on wheel size and engine revs to get top speed

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

I guess for a Londoner like you that is not satisfying, but ask a Welsh bloke about heard work...

Boy or Girl?? *surprised*

This website takes the maths out of working out your top speeds etc, but you will still need to know your final drive.

About mid to high 15s on the quarter if you hook up the start well with that ratio

I seriously doubt it!
