Only 25% lighter? I made my standard ones 20% lighter.
I seriously doubt it! |

Does light road use translate as "these will probably bend, and when they do hard luck"?

Does it not mean that it may not be good if used daily? It is odd. |

Any one who rallys their mini wont be fitting any of the light weight ally components such as hubs and radius arms. Standard parts dont last one stage of the Rally GB, so how far would you get with the ally ones?

It looks like you could put two callipers on each side. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Could it be that the light road use be due to maintenance required.. like Willwood 4 pots because they dont have dust seals, however when used in competition they will be maintained more. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

That's how they are supposed to be, that way it's one side fits both I guess. No more, "I put it on wrong" stuff. |

I would like to know what they mean though, as I was thinking of putting these on my car which is my daily driver(about 100 miles a day). |

But surely you need the big nut ripping up to the usual/critical torque other wise the cyclic progression will have it loose in no time,

I know they have tested it on several cars, so if that was very problematic I doubt they would have gone forward with it. Anyway, time will tell :) |
