the spoiler at the end looked promising, Dr Who packing heat? WTF!

I enjoyed every minute of it, particularly the speeding mini.

I thought that Matt Smith did an excellent job considering how difficult it was going to be following Tenant.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, althugh I shall still hide behind the settee when the Daleks are on

Well tbh i started of thinking he was a little too Tenantish, but thought this got less once the action started.

I liked the pushing of the doctor to a cocky new level, almost an injection of Gene Hunt,

still I do think Eddie Izzard would make a good doctor,

well he packed heat last series as well!
imo a different Dr a hard role to lead on from but i think he is doing a very good job so far plus the new miss pond is pritty hot lol

Tennant was poor compared to Cristopher Ecclestone and Smith may, or may not, be any good, time will tell.

But the real dissapointmant was Steve Moffat's first script as lead writer.

He wrote ALL the good episodes from the previous series, "Empty Child/Doctor dances", "Girl in the fireplace", "Weeping Angels", "Silence in the Library/Forest of the dead", so this was rather disappointing......

The Mini looked good but that was just part of the story, ie her being quite a lot younger when first met.

first episode massive anticlimax but looks like there might be some good moments in the little sneak peak trailer type bit at the end.
