not too many, because like me, most people who have supercharged, or planned to, have eventually worked out that it'll always be a sub standard alternative to a turbo....

+1 I'm on the dark side. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

last time I saw Jonnys car was at Slark at the end of Jan, it wasn't going wonderfully to be honest. THey had issues with the power delivery when I was there, it was making 115bhp and 130lbft at about 7psi when they ran it on the rollers, but it was a bit savage and not really road friendly at all, despite the relatively low power.

My word, a turbo charger, a supercharger and some gay horns. That's a busy old engine bay. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

We're running 90bhp at the wheels with ours running 8-10psi. All parts made by me. There is room for another 10bhp with future adjustments to the megajolt.

Mine is almost done. Progress has ground to a hault so close to the end which has really pissed me off. Since the RR day Prawn mentioned, standard rockers and 17% reduced pulley have been fitted but a new smaller belt is needed and a larger exhaust. Its not been on the rollers since that shootout day. Am really tempted to collect the car and finish it myself but would need the MJ setting up properly and dont think there is anyone near or in swindon that could do it other than slarks. Not happy really. Just hope its all worth it feature=mhum |
