So our lass has saved up and with the sale of her car has roughly £6.5k to spend.

So with no real criteria in mind, what would you buy???

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I'd seriously buy another mini. Pick one up with a decent shell and drop the rest into doing whatever I want to it. If I had to choose something else(going by U.S. prices) it'd have to be a nissan something or other.

A decent un-molested one if there are any left, costs more than £6.5k, and the molested ones have had the arse ragged out of them.

6.5k buys a lot of car, i've been looking at the golf mk5 1.4 tfsi for the lass, there in that bracket with hardly any miles on. would piss me off cause its too slow but safe, funky looking and new!

Anything needing work is out, it has to be reasonably modern and reliable.
