This is a new bit from Minispares not sure what it's a 20% improvement on as there was always an inconsistancy in spring rates.

The way I understand it, or at least have measured it, the 'uprated' clutch is 'uprated from the standard 1275 clutch, but not uprated as much as the genuine turbo clutch was.

As sprocket said this is a new plate made to the original turbo spec, this was previously only available as a clutch kit. |

I've just bought one of those. I'm using it with a 6 plate paddle clutch. Only time will tell how good it is. |

2.2 is a std 1300 one, there are some around 2mm presumably from 998's, and a few other random ones depending on the type/manufacturer. I thought 2.0mm (0.08) was for 1300 (75hp)? The one from my MG metro (NA) has a Valeo 2.0mm? As per this info: Or would this be different between AP and Valeo? Would two 2.0mm Valeo plates suffice for my setup? I am not sure how much curlywurlies my setup will make. Dazed and Confused.... |
