Again, very pleased with power figure- 144bhp@wheels on 12psi (168@flywheel)

Also checked fueling with light throttle openings and cruising speeds to see if it would be safer to block off the balance pipe.Result-fueling was spot on and did'nt lean off at all:) seems as some engines are not effected by it, anyone else found this with there rolling road tests???

What spec are you running T3Tone to get that sort of power at only 12 psi?

Yes thats very good power mate, and only on 12 psi!!!!
i found that the lean / balance out pipe made no difference to me either.

Is this on the same rollers as Matt uses then??? If so, I don't know what you've done to get that many bananas at that boost!!!

I will get my boost levels checked one day as i know guages are not 100% accurate, but when i had a standard actuator calibtrated to give 4psi, my guage read 4psi. Then i fitted a 6.5psi actuator and it was bang on 6.5psi (splitfire boost guage) so cant be far out!!

At the end of the day all our engine builds differ, using different this-different that and what works on one engine may do the opposite to another. Like some engines lean off massively because of the effects of the balance pipe and need it blocked or calibrated, my reasons for checking it. But made no difference to mine???

Also cant really compare rolling road figures as we all use diffferent rollers, just as long as you use the same ones so you can see gains/loses.

Enough wofflin, as hoggy put it i am a bit of a jammy scroat but credit has to go to himself, matt and jukka for their help and advise.

I'm going to turn my boost down now as whats the point running 20 when 12 is really good LOL, seems big CC is the way to go, mind you i had to step out of the way on the rollers as the bores were flexing so much !!!!! NOT!!

I'm about to start turboing my 1330, at present it has backs of torque but needs more top end boost.

Has anyone ever blown through between cylinders on 1330/1380's?

I dont think that my brake pads spark if they did I would panic a lot.
Ps I did download the vid and it took 32 mins glad Im geting broadband in a couple of months

Never blown through between cylinders but have only covered about 4000 miles with turbo. Jukka has done loads of miles with 1380 turbo and never had a head gasket failure, just need to make sure block/head surfaces are flat and use a decent gasket. (same as any engine build) And personally i also think that "bore flex" is a load of crap.

AllanMcD- pads are carbon metallic and is in their nature to throw out the odd spark when being used :)
