It might not be the best (far from it actually) but it's the oddest made in the country right now.

You guys don't imagine how hard I envy England and it's car enthusiast friendlyness ...

I saw one of these in Fecamp in August and was quite impressed by it.

In the flesh it looked nothing like TT, but it does in the photos.

Yes I agree, in the past there has been a fair lot of exciting car but these days they are becoming scarcer.

I was writing that "finally" more as a reference to english kit cars, Lotus Seven and so on that since the falling of Alpine is a kind that is widely disregarded by french car makers.

Not that there are no quick cars like the Megane or Clio RS but they are mass production vehicle, somehow easy to built, homologate and so on.

The very person that I am have a soft thing for outsiders.
It is the David vs Goliath syndrom maybe ?
So I am up for the Alpine A110, A310 Simca 1100 Ti, 205 Rallye, most of Renault sports car and so on.

A610, Venturi, 205 T16, not my cup of tea

Also I tend not to give "fast" credit to expensive car.
An M3 is fast, so what ?

On the same theme, knowing the Megane RS (the first one, X84) was within a second of a more powerful, expensive, 4wd, Golf R32 on Spa Francorchamps track gives it credit in my book.

But I understand you guys can disagree with my tastes.

Germini, black forrest

I saw one last week whilst traveling through france - wondered what it was. Didn't look too bad in the flesh, TBF :)

A110... *drool!*

I realy like french car design, it's very different and 'avantgarde'/futuristic. Whilst most european manufacturers are very conservative.

What's even better is that the RCZ comes with a 200hp 1.6 petrol turbo engine *smiley*

Yes but it only comes 12 years after the Audi TT (if you know what I mean), weights twice as much as the little car I was talking about, costs twice more, and get spanked 1,5 seconds at the 0 - 60 mph ...

I am not saying it is not a good car but I'd rather buy the Secma ...

Each to their own thought

they defo not boxing in the same league.

the secma is a sort of a kit car, certainly fun and as fast as light but not a real one, just a lot of fun to outing sometimes.
I would take it to take some curves on the tarmac, and finally take the RCZ every day to go at work, in holidays, in week end....

I ride an estate for that matter and it is really convenient.
Not as good looking but when you open the back you can play it like Crocodile Dundee : "No mate, THAT is a trunk" !

Very nice , but not as nice as the BX i had 10 years a go,
if i dropped the lever to have it sit on its arse and tried to drive at anything over 10 mph, this too was truely exciting as my head bounced off the roof, lol. on eof the nicest cars iv'e had,
