Just a few weeks from finishing my 1275 turbo project in my 1984 austin mini mayfair and its just dawned on me im only 17 its about time i actually got an insurance quote with engine declared.
1/4 mile in....??

Oooof, I remember getting quotes on my 998 at 17. Silly question but have you put your mum/dad/older siblings on? I found it was cheaper for me if I put on some older, experienced drivers :) On 2nd Nov, 2010 wil_h said:

Yea I've tried everything to get it cheaper got parents as named drivers (would never let them near it) but have to be the policy holder due to the fact I don't live at home to have it under parents. Yea I'm on a pretty similar wage haz. Haz what job you doing for this fine country? 1/4 mile in....??

You have more disposable income than i have and i'm a director of a small company, 3k insurance you could well afford. Good job mines only £155 for the year. 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi

i pay alot on my 140bhp rocco and im 21 with 2 years ncb. im only on 850 am onth after tax and i manage just. 1000 would sort me right out.
