So then ladies and gents

Behind the scenes we have been plotting a possible TM Xmas dinner disco for this year. Obviously a lot of us meet at the various drag events and rolling road days, but throughout the winter there is not a lot going on normally.

At the moment nothing is finalised but I will run through the thoughts we have had so far.

Sit down meal followed by DJ/disco at a hotel/functions place. Obviously with a bar. Also with rooms so folk don't have to worry about getting there and back. Kiddy friendly as there are plenty with little ones out there. Location somewhere reasonably central, we'll never please everyone with this but at the moment somewhere in the Leicester/Coventry area is where we are looking, good motorway links and about as central as it gets.

Prices £TBC, I have to give the credit to our very own Nicky who has been doing the spade work on this one. However looking at somewhere in the region of perhaps £30 a head for food etc, and then hopefully room prices in the travellodge kind of price bracket. When you consider a lot of us pay £25 to get into Pod for a weekend its not too bad!

What I would like really is to gauge numbers to see if this is a go-er. If you are unsure then please say nothing rather than say yes now and then pull out.

Me and the Mrs are interested, but we're going to New York between 9th & 16th Dec. So obviously it depends on the date.

When are you thinking of having it? I'd be interested, but couldn't give a definate until there is a date.

I had anticipated a few more in numbers, I'm confirming what the situ' is as it stands.

I just came in for a bump in case anyone else wants to come.

So, with our numbers, we're looking at Fri 17th exclusive, or the 11th (Sat) but shared.

Let me know ASAP if Friday's are ok, we'll need her to hold and need money quickly!
