thinking about it a bit more, can you stick the return from the turbo back into the header tank or top hose?

I'm thinking that really the turbo wants to be able to thermo syphon when the pump isnt running otherwise it'll just boil the water sitting in the turbo i was hopeing to keep it all nice and clean so there is not as much hose going every where.

Where is the hole in the block? Is it above or below the turbo? Sounds like you would be forcing water out of the block, up into the turbo, then back up into the head.

I have drilled and tapped a hole in the clutch side of the block just under the middle of thw two core plugs to fit a banjo to feed the turbo with relatively cool coolant. I then intend to feed it back into the top of the side mount rad. There will ALWAYS be a flow in this way. If you feed the coolant back into the head, before the thermostat, you will get little flow. It needs to be fed back into the cooling system at some point after the thermostat and before the pump.

in my honest opinion, there will be little flow of coolant through the turbo if you return to the head where you suggest, even if you are only using a blanking plate. You will get FAR better results if you return the coolant to the top hose, the rad, or the bottom hose.

theres no oil pressure out of that one, only the front gallery. right then, this is what i have come up with your help. Oil will come out the side of the front gallery by where the water pump is. To the turbo it will all be -4 as for the cooling out of the back of the block to the turbo then to the swirl tank after the thermostat housing.
